Update

I'm working towards making a film of The Talking War. The technical side is coming together.
I'm planning on a combination of iClone 3D animation and Crazy Talk, morphanimation programs [Squirlz and Fantamorph], footage from videogames and DVD's using Fraps, and live motion from a digital camera.
Some free software for panning across/ zooming into or out of still images would be useful too...

I'm putting up some test sequences on Google Video, under 'swordflasher'.
